The course deals with the logistics area as a whole and goes deeper into practical applications in areas such as
planning of operations, forecasts, production planning, inventory management, location and transport.
You will learn to understand the importance of the holistic approach to control flows and processes as links in a total processing chain.
Logistics is an approach to managing efficient flows from supplier to final consumer of the finished product. In a company’s feeds, it is not only the material that should be effectively handled.
For each material flow there is also an information flow and a capital flow that must be equally efficient.
With the holistic approach, understanding of the need for integrated work throughout the logistics chain – such as material supply, production and distribution.

- ISO/TS-22000-1
- Identification of hazards in foodstuffs (physical, microbiological, chemical and allergens)
